His musical journey began as a child with organ lessons; later, encounters with progressive rock giants like <em>Emerson, Lake &#038; Palmer<\/em> and <em>King Crimson<\/em> opened up new sonic dimensions for him. While he never had true idols, his love for experimentation remained: &#8220;There are good and bad things in every genre,&#8221; he explains, and particularly values variety \u2013 often within a single piece, but not at any cost.<\/p>\n<p>With this openness, Markus shaped the sound of <em>Kickin&#8217; Ears<\/em>, <em>Es gibt vielleicht Fisch<\/em>, <em>Schizofrantik<\/em>, and <em>Lee Harvey &#038; The Oswalds<\/em>, and is also active as a composer and producer in pop projects.<\/p>\n<p>With his mobile, modern setup, he brings the sonic world of the last few decades to life on stage.
