The Lukas Tower Band (LTB) celebrates its 40th anniversary with the album A Prophecy. In nine tracks, the Munich-based band blends prog-folk with jazzy elements and suite-like structures. The clear vocals of Paola Ottavani are reminiscent of the band Renaissance, while epic instrumentation with keyboards, flute, saxophone, and guitar creates a lot of atmosphere. Songs like Eyes See, Heart Knows are based on romantic poetry by poets like William Blake, combining complexity with emotional depth. An exceptional work for prog and folk lovers.
