After an album, that more or less summed up their 20-year timeline, Lukas Tower Band celebrated their 25th anniversary with a new work, having a much more Progressive Folk-oriented sound, going from acoustic Folk and electric Folk Rock to complex Prog, featuring new faces Silvia Szekely on violin and Ursula Wilpert on whistles.Well-crafted musicianship with ok female vocals, plenty of great electric guitar hooks and nice organ around, some beautuful flute-laden orientations.Due toa few nice melodies you can even compare them to CAMEL at some point, but LTB’s sound has also a strong psychedelic edge ala CAROL OF HARVEST and obvious Medieval Music leanings.Nice material indeed.
